It is our great pleasure to introduce you the website of Polish - Indian Chamber of Commerce. We would like to encourage you to acquaint yourself with the Chamber’s offer of cooperation, the idea to establish it and a wide range of opportunities resulting from the membership in PIIC. The website provides information on Chamber’s activity, its members and Indian enterprises’ offer. What is more, we suggest familiarizing yourself with the publications of Ministry of Economy and Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi regarding Polish - Indian relations. Finally, the website is a valuable source of latest news from Polish and Indian Stock Exchange, it specifies exchange rate indexes and delivers significant information concerning the country of Poland. We especially invite you to peruse the Polish Zone section and find out more about the specificity of the Polish market.

Privatization with Ministry of Treasury

 

We are pleased to inform you that Polish - Indian Chamber of Commerce is actively taking part in Polish Privatization Plan worked out by Ministry of Treasury. In December 2009 the Chamber obtained an invitation from Minister of Treasury, Mr. Aleksander Grad to take part in the above-mentioned process. Both for the year 2009 and 2010 we acquired a directory of Polish companies to be included in the privatization. 

We have just forwarded detailed information to two Indian partners of Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce - AIAI and WTC Mumbai.

We would like to stress that a perfect opportunity to discuss this issue will be a PICC representatives’ visit in New Delhi, who will be participating in European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) mission 15 - 20 March 2010.

The Chamber representatives will take part in business meetings with Indian entrepreneurs and PICC partners.

 

Seminars with Bluevine Consulting

 


PICC has been invited by the company Bluevine Consulting to go into partnership by organizing the round of seminars “Prospects in Poland 2010” taking place in various cities in Poland, promoting different regions of the country and their strongest branches. The main Media Partner of the investment seminars round and VIP Business Mixers “Prospects in Poland for 2010” is Financial Times.

 

Global Polish Engineers Conference

 


We are delighted to invite you to take part in the Global Polish Engineers Conference which Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce is honoured to co-organize. The conference will take place in Warsaw from 8th to 10th September 2010 – at least a few hundred participants representing each continent will attend it.

 

PARP to support the Chamber

 

 

Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, which has been cooperating with the Chamber for a few months, offered to provide media and promotion support to all business events organized by Polish – Indian Chamber of Commerce. We are honoured that our actions have been noticed and thanks to the cooperation with Polish Agency for Enterprise Development all our efforts will be perceived in a better way.

 

Training with PICC, CUE and EBTC

   


January 27th 2010 took place the first training organized by PICC before the trade mission to Energetic Conference in India with the participation of Coventry University Enterprises Ltd and EBTC representatives. During the training, companies interested in the mission to New Delhi in March this year could collect information on Indian market, obtain the agenda of the officially presented mission and find out more about the Chamber activity in terms of its cooperation with Coventry University and EBTC.

Zloty on the rise

End of week trading has seen strengthening of the Polish currency. The zloty stood at 3.87 to the euro, midday Friday. According to Przemyslaw Kwiecien from XTrade Brokers, the currency is seen as underinvested and undervalued by traders.

Poland produces pilotless patrolling chopper

The first Polish pilotless helicopter constructed by a aviation scientist from Krakow is on its way to conquer the world’s air space, its manufacturers hope. The robot is designed to monitor an area of 10 km even under difficult weather conditions. It is equipped with cameras and sensors, weighs 6 kg and is able to transmit images from the height of 1,000 m.

 
Tata Nano Electric At Geneva Motor Show

Tata launched the electric version of the Nano at the international motor show at Geneva today. Called the Tata Nano Electric Vehicle, the car joins the likes of the Indica Vista electric vehicle that is already set to launch in European markets soon.
