World Bank Approves $50.7 million For Tamil Nadu |
The World Bank has approved a $50.7 million loan to India for improving quality and sustainability of the road network in Tamil Nadu. Through this, 1,380 km of roads are expected to be improved and another 720 km upgraded to two lanes in the state's core network.

High quality organic food made in Poland |
Polish organic food keeps to high standards, shows a report by the Supreme Auditing Chamber. Between 1 July 2005 and 30 June 2009, the Chamber checked the quality of organic food produced by Polish eco-farms. Out of 712 food samples only 4, or 0.6 percent, did not meet standards.

Ten new destinations from Krakow this summer |
Krakow Airport will be serving up to ten more destinations in a bid to get more Poles flying over the holiday season. Many of the new routes will be operated by cheap-flight operator Ryanair, Europe’s biggest low-cost airline. The new timetable comes into effect over the weekend.

Rupee Hits New High In 18 Months On Dollar's Weakness |
Indian rupee has strengthened itself by rising to a new high in 18 months as dollar weakens against major currencies and mild gains in share markets. In the early trade on Monday, the partially convertible rupee was at 45.10/11 per dollar, which was its strongest value since Sept. 2008. In the mean time, the figure was above the figure of 45.23/24 on the close of the session on Friday.

Goldman Sachs to open in Warsaw |
Goldman Sachs, one of the largest investment banks in the United States, has announced plans to open its first branch in Poland. The bank applied yesterday for authorization with the British Financial Services Authority (FSA) to open a branch of Goldman Sachs International in Warsaw.
